Why This Counter ?

Counters are tabood. They kill the cache. But think of the advantages! Whenever you go into my software page you will get a fresh one :-))) The reason for this counter is simply that I don't have access to the log-file of my WWW server. So this counter is the only way to see whether anybody is interested in this page.
